Editing process for advert.

Week 1 running into a problem.

I have started the editing process of my advert and have ran into some problems. The green screen has went wrong and you can tell that it is a green screen. However i have used my problem solving skills to try and get the best out come I can get.

I have experimented with many skills and have started to make a first draft which is looking okay. However in my research i have discovered that an adverts run time is anything from 30 seconds to 2 minutes which i had to cut certain clips as my adverts run time was six minutes and i thought that it was way to long for an advert.

week 2 solving the problem

I soon realized this was going to be a problem for my finale product so this is how I solved it and made it better. I started with the green screen problem by finding a good JPEG image of a class room and importing it into premiere pro. I then changed the green  screen into the class room image using the ultra key effect which imports the image onto the green screen.

Once the image was on the green screen I zoomed in as much as possible to try and make the image look real. This kind of worked but you can still tell but it will have to do because I had a bigger issue which was my footage was five minutes long and I wanted to cut this to about two minutes.

This took time as I had to review all my footage and choose which footage was shorter but also fitted into the advert so it ran smoothly. This took me round about thirty minutes due to the length of clips and careful thinking. Once I chose the right footage I then inserted it onto premiere pro and watched them in a smooth transition.

music and finding it.

As my advert is going onto YouTube I had to find non copyright music which will fit my advert. I used a free website called bens sounds which has non copyright music. Once I found the music I muted the audio I had by unlinking the sound and deleted it. After I linked the music I then watched it back and it sounded okay and fitted the footage well.
